You can definately knock more money off the Twingo but I doubt they're add a great deal to the Clio unforutnately

Is selling privately not an option? I know you'd need to tax it but it may work out. What do they go for on the market at the moment?

With these figures, my tactic would be:

Offer £7,800 cash for the Twingo and be willing to pay £8,250.

Ask £4½K privately for the Clio, but accept any sensoble offer over £4K

I have decided not to go any futher with this lovely car....The prices where not right for me.

So will try and sell the Clio myself and then start looking for another Mirage Grey

Not really sure....I had a look on autotrader and a few clio's same age and mileage are going for around £4,250 - £4,895.

I'd have a mirage grey if I was buying one other than a Gordini - they do look really smart in the metal - only seen one and it was well Fonzie
