Hello Twingoists. My wife and I have had a months-long saga in trying to buy a 1998 Twingo 1,2 from what became a dodgy dealer here in France. Following eventual legal action the car is finally ours!
We just wanted a mechanically sound Twingo 1 to put on our trailer behind the motorhome; we didn't want a perfect car at all, but something that would be 'invisible' in a car park. And we found the ideal one, a 1998 model in Methyl Blue with the usual awful peeling clearcoat and bits of very badly sprayed aerosol. It was perfect!
So, now the registration process is almost complete we should finally be able to use the car. It is superb to drive but of course there are a few jobs to do. Hopefully this forum can help and I will post now and again but I will be an avid reader of the forum. And I will contribute financially too - managing a forum like this is incredibly time consuming.
