Well curiosity got the better. Al your car looks stunning. Love the seats :)

Thanks bud :D Bit of a work in progress but keeps me amused.

Some cool shots there, the display on the stereo upgrade really does look good. I'm glad the Gordini comes with it as standard, I just wish we'd ordered the option on the Mrs 133 though. :(

I didnt realise that the older ones were different either untill recently when I sat in a 58 reg red RS down cornwall, it didnt say renault or have the clock and temp etc. Also noticed when Al mentioned about the door locks that mine dosent have one on the drivers side anymore

I actually don't know why they had locks in both sides for so long. Renault have always done one door lock in the passenger side (correct drivers side in France but they were too cheap to right-hand drive design it). It's almost like they forgot they didn't need it. I don't think i've ever used my locks; no idea if they even work

yea that must be the main reason, I have never used them for any reason, I just see them as a dirt collector now and every time I clean my car dirty water drips from them days after i cleaned it lol :D annoying if you have OCD

Talking bout difference then left hand drive door locks, how many people are bugged the way the windscreen wipers are designed for left hand drive and haven't be converted to right hand drive.........

Plus they are a fairly ugly arrangement of design :?

My locks don't drip... thanks to my chemical guys blower... which actually reads OCD clean on the side

it's pretty standard for LHD cars to have no door lock on the drivers side and other cost saving measures I thought, although renault took it one step further by having a LHD matt that doesn't quite fit the passenger side on a RHD car

the other thing about it being a lhd car is the stupid shelf thing on the dash above the steering wheel. its perfectly designed to send stuff out the window

I use a leaf blower at work, would love to use one at home but always forget to ask dad to leave the extension lead lol
Get what u mean about the passenger mat, its so annoying mine now bends strange in the middle and the rubber is going :(

All twingos both LHD and RHD have the shelf thing on the drivers side as the shape for the passenger acts as the airbag
