After 16000 miles of careful driving, my head this week has been a little all over the place, after my split with the gf!

Guess what I did... Yes kurbed a Gordini alloy and I'm so gutted!! Turned around a corner, confronted by an ambulance on blues instead of holding steady I twitched an caught the rear alloy!!

Any way of fixing a polished face alloy...?

Ahh damn those bloody ambulances. I did pretty much the exact same thing when I done mine!
Last thing you needed this week. Hope the damage isn't too bad. Got any pics? Sorry can't help with the fixing I'm just waiting for mine to get a lil worse (as I know its going to happen) then get them refurbed.

Ahh mate, feel ur pain! I curbed my allot at the weekend. Only done 1000 miles! Rage!

Hope all gets sorted soon!
Take it easy!

James your alloys were beautiful! That makes it even worse :-(

With them being a polished face I think they'll need to be returned which is a bit dearer than powdercoating.
Where are you based mate?

Aww :( As leanne said you could have done more damage... But it still is the fact you know its there :(

Is that it!  If that's all you've got to worry about I'd say your ok!

There is a place that work use for polished wheels, il get u there number.

Anyway ud think u would be used to things with flashing lights!!

not good James, not good.

If it's just the laquer thats scuffed, it could be re-laquered. Damage to the polished face probably needs machining out. A small area could be done with a dremmel and laquered, but you would probably notice a difference in the texture.

Pristine alloy wheels do a good job, but at a price. Based in Leighton Buzzard if i remember correctly, but a friend used one of their reps for a set of bmw rims
