Seems everyone's going, it's much cheaper than Greece/turkey this year.

It's nice, like the Canary Islands only hotter and with added rubbish. I'm still amazed at how people just seem to drop it. But everything is dirt cheap, I feel like I'm underpaying for everything (except chocolate, just bought Carrie a bar and that's very very expensive compared to the UK). People nice, although abrupt and up front about wanting money for everything. Food is what you expect tbh, not amazing for the special one (caz the veggie).

Did the colosseum and a boat trip today. Which was very enjoyable :)

He says enjoyable and what he means is I jumped off the boat and in mid air I realized how scared of heights I am. I then changed positions and hit the water with full force on my legs and tummy. I'm so bruised and incredibly sore. I needed chocolate after that!!
But the rest of the day was very good

Oh and I went in the sea with my headband on and didn't come back out with it :(

I stayed in the riu imperial marhaba. Right on the beach :) only thing what let the holiday down was the lack of entertainment and things to do later on in the evenings/night. We just got up at the crack of dawn instead. I took loads of money and only spent 250 (and that was me trying to spend it!!!) Watersports are so cheap! Camel ride, boat trip, coliseum, markets (think we went souuse).

Oh and the sea was full of jellyfish last July/August!
A woman in the see next to me got stung on the face haha

We went on a two day trip in the Sahara, it was superb, camped in the middle of the desert, was amazing, wife wasn't fond of the scorpions though

Maggi didn't really want me to go in the sea because of the jelly fish! He thinks I'd have got stung which knowing me I would have.

This was meant to be a rest fully holiday but we wanted to do one trip so we did the day out to the Colosseum, museum and the pirate ship outing. I'd have loved to go to the Sahara desert but with it being a 2 day trip it would have been to much I think.

We are staying the the Caruso palace which set back from the road doesn't look appealing but looks fab inside. Its also a adult only so no screaming kids splashing in the pool. As its not as huge as the other hotels we can still get a sun bed at 2 in the afternoon. Also can arrange day trips and they have their own massage parlor etc here.
We tend to walk into the marina in the evenings and its nice to sit and have a drink down there.
All in all except the bruises I collected yesterday its been a good trip so far
