Hi was just wondering if anyone has used toyo r888's on their 133? They're road legal track tyres and come as standard on the Megane R26. Been looking at reviews on them and they sound amazing. £150 a tyre though... Lol

I have a set ready for use as track tyres but I am yet to use them
I know that yotah uses them and if you haven't read his thread yet then you might not know but but the man knows what he doing! Probably be a bit lairy to use as everyday tyres because they're pretty much semi slick and the compound is pretty soft I personally wouldn't bother with them just for road use :)

Also demon tweeks do them for £125 when I bought mine it set me back £500 for the set :0

I thought they were optional on the r26.r?

Yotah has run them I'm sure. When it comes to opinions on track biased semi slicks he should be the man to talk to.

They are brilliant tyres ... If you use them and actually get some heat into them. If not, they are probably wasted, being fairly soft with less tread depth than other tyres.

Unfortunately, for the 17" rim size, there's not much choice... r888 or Kumhos for stickier rubber

If you dropped to 15s
Yoko AD08 - the AD08R is replacing it
Toyo R1R
When the AD08 wear out, I'll be trying Nankang NS2R

Any idea how I would find yotah's thread? Still pretty new to this see lol. Demon tweeks is who I had the price off mate, still the cheapest I could find though lol. The maxsports don't come in the size I need :/ 205-40-17. As singlespeed said I don't have much choice at all

You can probably pick yourself up a pair nice and cheap I was lucky and araf (top bloke) had some OZs that he sold me a good price! And if you're going to use them for track use it'll be easier just to have a spare set of wheels to put on than to change the tyres over every time :)
