It's not all about how much you lower it by though its more about firming up the suspension to reduce the roll in the corners and tighten things up
And as for coilies only dropping 40mm on most you can go lower than it says on the tin if you really want to

If you've got the non cup Twingo the first thing I'd go for if I was you before you start with the power upgrades would be coilies or springs because apparently the non cup doesn't handle half as well as it could.
You'll notice the difference more than if you spent £1000+ on power gains

Oh it handles well enough as it is, however I'm ordering coilovers tonight

Green cotton filter went in last night and I treated the airbox to a few more holes and it sounds a hell of a lot better than before! I'll throw some pictures up next week once I've got the coils delivered. Probably end up starting a proper build thread to be honest

I looked at some coilovers and springs. If you want to spend the money coilovers are obv the better choice. But they are about £400 if memory serves me right, and the max you can drop it is 40mm, you can buy springs that do 35mm and they are £110... so up to you. i went with the springs myself and they are due to arrive next month. so if you havent got any by then ill let you know what they are like.
I got the manifold back system from ktec as i could fit it myself so cost me £370... the full engine back system plus fitting comes to £1600 (this was what i was quoted about a month ago by k-tec themselves.)

I'm going for coils mainly for the increased stiffness of the shocks, I'll only lower by around 30mm because I don't want it to become too undriveable!

Decided against the exhaust for now purely because of cost. I'll probably rethink it next year when I want a little more power and noise besides, the air filter upgrade and new holes made a very big difference in induction noise

My coilovers arrive tomorrow!

As for exhaust remove both silencers, best sound on a twingo , don't notice much difference I side but outside at higher revs its quite raspy.

Tbh I preferred (by a long way) the sound of parks' supersprint to a box chop. To the point I was going to start looking into getting one for Carrie as she's after an exhaust

I love the bass it puts out without being too noisy, I'm really chuffed with it to the point that I'm hesitant about decatting after MOT incase it changes the note too much :/

My friend (who owns an Evo) was ridiculously surprised at how well it handles on standard suspension! But having not driven a cup i'm not sure on the difference.

Coilovers are ordered though won't be here until late this week or next week though brakes and tyres will be here in around 3 days! Brembo Max front disks, Ferodo DS2500 pads all round and a full of AD08s...excited doesn't quite describe it.
