yes and no man. most new upper market vehicles such as bmw's and audi's have hid's as standard, the only difference is they are fitted with the correct deflector lenses etc wheras retro fits aren't, this is the only area where it could be failed but the testers handbook says nothing about this either. ''Vehicles equipped with High Intensity Discharge (HID) or LED dipped beam headlamps MAY be fitted with headlamp washers and a suspension or headlamp self levelling system. Where such systems are fitted, they must work'' where they weren't fitted, they cannot be failed for not having the washers when it wasn't factory fitted

I did remove mine not long ago for Osram NB+ but been looking at acquiring some premium bi-xenon bulbs n trying again.

I just don't see the point in them on a twingo; the light will go everywhere other than where you want the light! And blind me which will result in a hand gesture

exactly mark, you'd need to look into a projector conversion before you could realistically use hid's in the twingo. thought about looking into it myself, but have found osram nb+ to be everything i need and then some

I love my hids. they are a much better colour and light the road better. iv never had issues with mots either. nor have I had other drivers giving me "hand gestures". iv passed police cars even been sat behind them for a while and not one has said anything to me. when you drive past other cars with hids are you seriously telling me you cant see a thing? ? if you ask me its no different than having any other headlight pointing at you especially when the majority of roads have street lamps and it's not pitch black.

After checking the HID4U Webpage I'm just gonna order a set from there prices have dropped loads since I first looked :D
