Got my HID kit fitted 6000k bulbs

i dont have to worry about an MOT for another 3 years mate so not too much of a problem for me there, anyway they are easily removed and put back in again :lol:
 
Exactly my idea there take them out and put them back in!

Only thing your gonna have to watch is your blue led bulbs with you local force

same here.. have HID for 2 weeks now and in 3 years alot can happen.. who knows I'd still have my Renault by then because working at Toyota that GT86 lookin damn fine.
 
Yea mate iv been warned about the blue side lights before, always carry a spare set of white bulbs and cops are usually ok if i change them out there and then with the excuse that i didnt know they wernt legal lol dont stay out for too long but :lol:
 
has any one had any problems with hids flickering if how can i stop it because i thought it might be a dodgy ballest. i got some and one didnt work and they sent another it worked then flickerd and went off any idears please

It may just be a loose/poor connection somewhere, so worth giving everything a check and wiggle.

Or, it could be the balast or burner thats paying up. You could try the suspect balast unit on the light which is working... If the fault transfers to the previously good side, it's the balast and if the fault stays on the same side, it's the burner.
