Lowered my Driver's Seat today ...did the lowest Setup and the sliding mechanism works the whole range like before.

Used 3 washers ...each 2,5 mm = 7,5 mm

Feels much more sporty now...love it.

How deep does the 13mm socket have to be? Will a standard one not work? Arghhhh

Carrie bought the tool I used cheap on eBay. It's also useful for removing the passenger air bag and I'm sure many other things in the car

Just done mine today and it works great, now I don't have to watch out for my knees smashing into the steering wheel as I get in :)

Hello everyone. I'm interested in lowering the driver seat on my GT. After the mod, there are any downsides on the car insulation from environment (water, debris)? I'm thinking about adding 5mm on the outside rail and 12,5 mm on the tunnel one. Spacers are each 2,5 thick. Thanks!
