Currently enjoying car and weather. Nice to be back in an RS.
D.Who is a timelord!
Going back up to Inverness to have back wheel replaced. A new car shouldn't have scuffed alloys with touch up paint trying to cover it up. Apart from that: Well chuffed!
:)

Thank you all for commenting. I'm delighted with my purchase.
The wheel was done by the garage prior to me getting it. So it will be replaced on Saturday. Apart from that, no issues.

Whos the RS salesman now Mike has left? Were they OK to deal with and actually know about the RS range.

Mike was always good to deal with, so hopefully he has a worthy replacement

Mike has gone to Porsche. With the death of Renaultsport dealers, the Dacias in the forecourt, and the way I was treated, I ain't going back there.

Sticky tape used to cover damage to bodywork!

Sandwich left in engine bay?

Tyre pressures all @ 2.0

Destroyed alloy wheel.

Mike would've never have sold a car like that!

But, do I like it? No! I luv it!

Is that the Elgin Renault? If so I'm off there on Monday for a service so wil watch out for sandwhiches in random locations lol
Mike was over in Inverness. Elgin branch seem ok and its only a mile and a half away :)

I was in Ness Motors in Elgin last week for an interim first year service. I drove all the way from Aberdeen as we no longer have a Renault dealer and took the day off work. Wandered around Elgin from 0800 until 1430 when they phoned me up and said they can't service my car! Something about it being on the 4+ package and if I service it now it might lose it's warranty but they weren't sure. My car has just over 10,000 miles on it and it turns 1 this next week.

It took them 6 and a half hours to tell me this and when I booked it in about 5 weeks ago they mentioned nothing about it. Needless to I was not happy. Still waiting on their reply as to whether they can actually service it. They said they were going to contact Renault UK. I'm going to get on the phone to Ness Motors on Monday about it.

I never seem to have any luck where ever I take my car ...

Thats no good :(

Karens is on the 4+ as well and had its first service the day before its first birthday.

Mine is on the 4+ as well and it's a full service as the miles are at 12k almost now. But I tried to book it in earlier and they said it was to early due to the miles or something like that. But they checked to make sure this time and they said it's ok. Will see when I turn up as I never mentioned the coilovers haha
