£412

'09 Golf R32, driveway, 8k miles, 31yo, full NCD, no other drivers, fully comp with all the trimmings, one payment. Don't think that's too bad! Clio 200 was £380, Twingo 133 £350 (at different address but parents added made it cheaper).

I'm 20 and my cheapest quote on the 133 with Direct Line was about £436 for the year (I pay £37 a month for it though). I have 4 years NCD, had my license for 3, that's with my car saying its parked on my driveway most of the time and in my office's car park during the day.

Quote for my new Ibiza Cupra when I finally get it is a whole 40p a month more lol. I found that it made a big difference to my price when I told them I was insured on my mum's car as well, not entirely sure why though

How do you have 4 years NCB and only had your license 3 years, did you have a moped at 16?

Nah, I was insured as a provisional license holder with Admiral when I was learning and for some reason I don't know, they gave me a year's no claims when I called them to tell them I'd passed my test. Heard of a couple of others that this happened to aswell.

Thats a good price funky_d !! Really good for your age, I was paying £325 for mine last year and I'm 40!
Then again I had 1 claim still live, but thats over 3yo now.

PS did you get your footrest??

Sorry I just noticed your reply there mate lol - guess I just came up trumps with it! When I first got the 133 I was halfway through an existing policy and the payments were £87 a month, think I covered the screen of my laptop in coffee when I got my quote I'm paying now lol.

I did get the footrest also mate it's superb thanks! As the car is going soon I'll be keeping a hold of it as a keepsake I think lol *gives pretend positive feedback as if it were ebay*

Just got a new quotation for my renewal
£800 a year

Yikes! Never go for your renewal by the way, always shop around. My renewal price was about £300 dearer than when I got a price as a new customer from their website...
