F*ck paying anywhere near that for a Twingo 133, in fact I'd begrudge paying over £1k for any car.

As great as the 133 is, is it worth £3,000 a year????? I can understand the urge to have a faster car, I had two 1.2 Clios up until I was 21 and the insurance was ok-ish.

I'm 28 and only paying £300 for my Gordini. It's worth limited the mileage and also, try going direct to insurance companie's web sites for quotes rather than the price comparison sites.

23, 5 years NC, £650~ with Admiral...thats with an Advanced Driving skill too.

Right...i got confused! £650 was what I was paying for my Ibiza! When I swapped onto the Twingo, they chucked on an additional premium to last me to the end of the policy [next month]...

Just phoned up for my renewal starting next month, £789.
Went online, through confused.com, put in my details and it came out with a cheaper quote...phoned back Admiral and they matched it...

£589 [courtesy car + paying by DD]. Would have been just over £500 had I had the cash to pay a lump sum!
