Have been playing with it for a few hours now on a spare iPhone and aside from the maps it's a pretty decent update.

Just a shame the maps are a pretty essential feature for me.

There are many other alternatives to the maps app in the app store... I just put maps in a folder for navigation with a satnav app and maybe another maps app

Mines a 4. Left the house about 6:30 listened to music on the train, been on my email a fair bit and on here. 50% battery still. But iPhones do suck for battery in general

It might be in my head, but my battery life seems better! Who knows! It changes day to day! Lol.

Got a question for you guys 'serious too'

Before update my emails used to appear when then got sent to me via push function.

Nothing changed apart from update but I have to enter the mailbox for it to refresh and retrieve emails. No settings I can see to be different than before

Bare in mind I've had iPhones for just under 4 years or so!

I don't have that issue.... Mine still push as usual. What accounts do you have? I'm using @me.com and gmail.com
