Is the standard 133 RS drivers seat lower than the GT's ?

Hi, Love the forum, loads of useful stuff and inspirational ideas floating about. Apologies if this has been covered before (I've had a good look, but the search bar wasn't working so I could of missed something). I've currently got a GT which is great, however even with the drivers seat fully lowered I feel a bit high up. I'm not that tall, just over 6 foot and I've seen instructions on the forum on how to lower the seat about 15mm which looks pretty easy but I was wondering if anyone knows if the drivers seat in the 133 goes any lower than the one in the GT to start off with, and could then be lowered further using the spacer removal mod if needed?

from memory of test driving plenty of 133's after work was carried out, i don't think the seating position was much different. i could be wrong however. you could look into getting aftermarket seats installed which would sit naturally much lower and you could keep it renault oem to keep insurance companies happy, with the recaro clio seats and such?!?!

i know for sure that i disliked the standard GT seats. they were quite comfy, but threw you about in corners and as you say it sat quite high. i much prefer my subaru impreza seats, low and go karty driving position with adjustments in every direction!

Even in the rs seats it feels like you are driving a bus...

Thanks guys, looks like I'll have to try taking the spacers out for now and if/when thats not enough, look at some new seats. Grippy in the corners, low and karty is just what I'm after. I'll go check out the clio recaros (sounds pricey) and then spread the net. Cheers.

I'm 6'2" and I distinctly remember not being able to fit in a non-RS Twingo but I was totally fine in my old 133. Seat could've done with being able to go back a click or two more though.

Had a go in a 133 (might of been a bad idea, was a lot off fun). Seats definitely better, felt a little lower but that could just be because I'm used to the GT with a sunroof which robs a bit of headroom.

my gordini definitely sits marginally lower than my dynamiques drivers seats, every time I jump in the dynamique I try and adjust the seat lower when its already at its lowest!

gordini still sits too high, need to get the spacers out just not had time!
