Well my cars just turned 19 months with 19500 on it and ill be using it more now so easily doing more than 12k a year.

Picked it up and it handles just as well as the extreme but has the plus side of more pull :D also got some good mpg just waiting for the rain to stop then I'll get some pics
 
One year-old Fords can be a great buy. Usually up to 50% off list and someone else has taken the big hit on depreciation and got any teething troubles out of the way.

I've recently seen 9-12 month old Mondeos going for <<£10k, and that's a LOT of car for the money.

Had one myself a few years ago when my step-daughter was at Uni, and a Focus before that. Good cheap motoring!
