At least it is back, essentialy complete and, on the grand scheme of things undamaged like everyone feared.

Plus no inocent parties were injured in a joyride chase like often happens. Heres hoping the ones who nicked it get caught before trying something similar, when it may turn out a lot worse

Well that hardly seems worth all that hassle and the risk of going to jail for a spoiler, bumper and some tailights.

what ******* idiots! good to see it back though!

The one thing that concerns me, it started at santa pod, got to reading via m1, m25 and then along the m4 apparently. With a 20l fuel tank.

And not one police car pulled it or questioned it along the way...?

I wouldn't imagine it was. Why would you trailer it some of the way then drive it on the busiest motorway in the country for some of it...?

The stretch it was filmed on is considered one of the worst of the m25. I often get caught at the maple cross junction, although it's better now the 50mph restriction has been lifted 2 junctions before it in the drection they were heading.

Jeesus, that's good they got it back. Shame about the partial strip.

As you say guys, hope they get caught. There's gotta be a lesson to be learned by the drift teams now as well to be honest :(

I was thinking that, maybe it will teach them to watch things a bit better. When a car is worth so much would it not have a tracker anyway?

As im sure one of the track guys will say.

"Tracker whats that it weighs something"

On a real note i dont think most of them have trackers there not normally needed

I'm not by anymeans saying, "HAHA, Serves you right, you deserved this..blah blah bollox"
But, there might have been a nievety of "No-one will steal one of the most recognisable drift cars in the UK and drive it straight out the front gates"

I know once I get my 86 'Rolla or whatever Jap Drift metal I get next, the damn thing will be tracked to high hell at the least!

Well that's what I was thinking but to be honest as I say if it's worth so much and they can be that careless about it maybe they need to think about these things!

You could also go blaming Santa Pod staff for letting it drive out the gates without being stopped. But they arent going to know who should/shouldnt be driving it. And if the guy had a helmet on then makes it even worse to know who they are.

Also they have so many buttons and what not to start them someone has to know there way around the car.
