Changed sides interior and boot + number plate and the interiour light is dimmed all the time ?????? Any idears or anyone else got this issue ?

You mean like it's always on even when "off"?

LED's do this as they use less power than regular bulbs and so pick up what current is usually there, which isn't usually enough to power a regular bulb

My interior light is like that, i just never thought anything of it to be honest

As stated. This is the reason why.

Has nothing to do with dodgy leds.

I dont have them from Hatton mine do the same after use but a few hours later its gone.

Mine doesn't do that :-/ but I only have them in the sidelights and interior and boot

Only my interior bulb does it may i add not my sides ore number plates. I have the same bulbs in all the light from another supplyier.

if they flicker can you send them back ill replace them

Dont worry about it, think two of the LED's are on the blink (see what I did there, badoosh ;) )

I'll swap it with the boot one!

I've tried all sorts of different LED bulbs in the interior light and they all stay on dim or flicker... Reasons stated above.

I did find however, that if you push on the LED to "force" it in, it stops this and it works fine so I guess it just needs some more solid connections?

yea that is correct matt the harder you push it in the btter it is, as they use less current they dont need as much material to connact the points

hence people fitting resitors in the leds (makes it a bit to big)

Mine stays on but if u leave it overnight and then look, u will see it's gone out.

Sorry pal !!!!!!!! Will make it up to you :D xx. Right had a chat to me dad as me and him are sparkys I might have a solution for it and as well as yours as well looks like I will need to put a diode in line with the ground or live will get one fit it and come back and tell you the final result :D

The LED bulb is already a group of 4 diodes.

A resistor between the +ve and ground would dump the residual power then the interior light should be out. However the value of the resistor would need to be rated to take the 12-14V when the light is switched on.

The small resistors are normaly 1/8 (0.125) Watt rating, so A 2Kohm resistor would only be consuming 0.098Watts of power at 14V, meaning you could get away with this. However if you keep the light switched on for ages, the resistor will be dumping current and getting hot as it is near its rating. A 4.7K ohm (4K7ohm) would be a better choice whilst using the small resistors. Going up to 1/4 watt rating would mean that a 2K resistor would be fine

No luck with the resistors still being dim even with the ignition of :(
