The fella who owned the car before me put these in, personally I don't really like them. Is it just different bulbs? That way I could just change them back to oem.

Good stuff. Trouble is it looks like he did a right bodge job, it's not connected up using a normal connector block, but wired straight into the middle if the unit. Have to have a good look at it tomorrow.

which light are you talking about here?

The interior light above the rear view mirror. If I get a pic off another thread.

See where the arrows are, that's where its been wired in, its not connected using the normal connector at the end.

I'm confused now. You don't need to remove the fitting like that, you simply pop off the plastic cover and pull out the bulb. 5 seconds of a job.

Just remove the transparent cover and leave the main housing in the roof headlining.

Grip bulb and pull. Push in new bulb, check it works and refit cover

I know that, I read the manual. But what I'm saying it the previous owner has messed about with the light unit itself, the unit was a bit loose so I thought I'd take a look at it, and found this.

Like I said, bodged. Going to have a good look at it tomorrow.

Just buy another interior light fitting from a megane (exact same fitment) if it's as shocking as it looks. For about £9 off ebay you can have three bulbs in the fitting instead of one.

 Top modding

Looks like they put extra bubs into the Twingo fitting instead of getting one fron a Quashquai which HAS more than one bulb as standard

Thanks, I've just bought a megane light off ebay, I think it safer to just throw that one away.

You've got matbrys old car? Even though he claims to have been a "sparky" the stuff he did to the car is terrible! He wired some lights into mine and I was worried it would set the car alight so got someone to sort it foe me. You're doing the right thing in sorting it all out mate!

It's not Bryant's old car, since the car in question here is a GT.

That does look like a proper bodge job though!
