Hi all,

Just been giving my 133 a first wash n wax since I bought it last week and I have noticed the o/s/r side skirt is sort of loose when you knock it.

Seems to have all of the plastic lugs still there but I'm wondering if anyone has had these of to know what the fixings are?.
I wondered if it was as simple as me ordering some new plastic fastenings as the n/s/r seems secure.

Any thoughts appreciated. Looks great now I've washed and polished it.

Had a similar problem with my off side sill extension coming away under the door hinge. After having words with Renault they eventually replaced and sprayed the sill.
Apparently one of the clips had broken and they do not replace the clip but must replace the whole sill which comes with new clips.
Had to argue with Renault to get the job done but got there eventually.

Cheers, that seems like over kill! The clips look pretty standard to me the type where you insert the outer part then fit centre pin which splays out clip to hold.

As my car is still under Renault warranty I wonder if I should take it in. Although it would seem like a lot of hassle having to have whole sill replaced if they would do it, or I could see if I could get hold of the clips and do the job in 10 minutes.

Yes,I agree, total overkill but that's the way they want to deal with the problem.
I didn't want a new sill but had to go down that route to get the job done.
Use the warranty I say.Thats what it's there for.
