Well the detailing stuff is going. Raised a good few hundred quid so far with many large items still to sell. Another few hundred quid easily. That's having left myself a good kit to keep mine looking as I want.

looks like I'm actually gonna do the things I want to and make something of my life :D

God James what a clearout it is! How much stuff did you have haha!! You've inspired me to get rid of some of my bits now, albeit fairly simple bits :p

Sounds like a top plan :)

Ohh how did you know!! ;) (oh and the wax arrived Monday. Thank you! :D)

TBH I'm still in shock that you have gone ahead and done it James, as I know how much you loved it! But onwards and upwards is what they say right, as long as your happy is all that counts :D

I've still got 1 wax, 1 shampoo, 2 buckets, 1 mitt. Basically 1 of the things i need, not like 30 of everything

Suddenly theres space where there wasn't. Theres cash in my travel fund. And I can think about other things :)

you move quick, getting cleared out so soon...
which wax did you keep?

#16. The best all rounder by a long shot. Looks great, beads amazing, dirt cheap and easy to use. PLus I LOVE the smell of crayons

And I spent from 5 till half 10 sorting it out last night into what i want and don't want!

Im confused mate, are you leaving your job and just going travelling round the world?

haha no between exams, I'm gonna start seeing the things i've always said I would! I just kept spending my money on ****. So decided enough is enough. I'm just gonna be much more careful with my cash from now on. See the things I want to, save for my house and then move on!

If you are finding that paying the car off is a genuine hindrance to other things you want to do then don't keep the car.

In fact you can pick up bargain RenaultSport models for less than half what you paid for the Twingo. My mate's 52k, 2003 172 cost him a little over £3k!!! All the fun, less to pay out if it's on finance!!

I've always said to myself that if my car's held me back in terms of the bigger things in life, I'd get rid. If it stops you moving into your own place or doing things you feel you should, then it's not doing you any favours.

This is the reason why me and the Mrs bought our cars when we did because when we have to be sensible and plan a family, we won't have the disposable income to pay to go and buy two brand new cars.

Love for detailing seems to have totally gone now. But the car... That's still there! Which cars can cross back roads that quickly and leave a grin on your face that big, look that incredible from every angle, cost so little to fuel, and cost £450 for someone of my age to insure?! Just sorted the insurance out for another year and couldn't believe it was so cheap for me!
22 male, accountant (apparently were higher risk than a fair few other jobs) and a claim 18 months ago for a nudge in traffic that was totally my fault. Not bad at all...!

On the travel side, going France for new years with a few of the lads, and Prague next month with my best mate to see a few sites and phil defranco is in town :D
