i'd advise to go with those. i'm sure the guys at kam racing will explain how it's a bad idea to use lowering springs on oem shock absorbers.... people don't realise that it's a false economy to throw on lowering springs onto the original shock absorbers.
now for the boring bit
a spring works by ... well you know how a spring works lol, but the job of the shock absorber is to reduce spring oscillation (the bouncing motion of the spring to simplify things)
. if you can imagine the wave form in the picture below each wave being one complete bounce down and up the longer wave is a done shock absorber that's humped, the shorter wave that ends quicker is a shock absorber that is working perfectly in tune with the spring rate which is what coilovers provide you with. the springs are matched to the shock absorbers
pretty boring but it's better to know truths rather than listen to people who don't know much about anything!
