hello I have intention to maximize the rs to run on circuits. now I have an adjustable suspension and shorter springs. exhaust and air filter straight conical green. when removing the head I found that the intake manifold is a bit smaller than the entry into the stock. you know if the intake manifold clio 172 is larger than the twingo rs? admission there is a larger butterfly? in Spain there is not much information and sport renault technicians say nothing ......

I´m not sure if the 172 manifold would fit, I think someone here had a look and the spacing between the holes is different.
The problem of the Twingo is the lack of aftermarket upgrades, so if you want to upgrade the engine, you have to go with Renault Sport rally parts, that costs a lot of money and in my opinion it´s not really worth it.

If you want to track your car, you´ve done enough in term of power already. Just put some semi-slicks on 15" wheels and the car will be super agile and quick around corners. Install better brake pads, Ferodo DS2500 or, for very agressive track use, Carbone Lorraine RC6 4042. 2 bucket seats and harnesses if you want to seat properly and have a better feeling of your car while driving it, and that´s all you need to be quick on the track and kick some ass :)

hello, the only comment I said in renault sport is that if polished the intake ducts, changing the rods and screws reprogrammed the ECU could get 180 hp. rs r2 have no modiicacion in the engine, only the electric control unit with another

Listen to yotah he's done s**t loads to his

The R2 has a new intake manifold, complete exhaust with no cat system, new pistons, rods, crankshaft, camshafts, ported heads, valves and springs, complete racing ECU ... Nothing is left from the normal RS engine apart from the block in the R2, which is why they get 180hp output from the 1.6, but that represents about 15000€ of parts.

The R1 has stock internals and engine parts, and gets 140hp, nothing more.

perhaps there are variations by lands? or not I wanted to give complete information. r2 kit costs € 25,000 in Spain

The 172 clio won't fit due to many things I'm currently in process of getting the 197 inlets to fit the twingo but it's Guna take time because of money I.e with mapping

There the same position on the 197 and twingo the 182 and 172 are different

but, is that, just the butterfly fit?
maybe, no need to replace the inlet manifold
I think he is well designed on TRS

Anybody stuck a 197/200 engine in a Twingo yet?
nah but jordy sport on here has put a 182 lump and a megane 230 engine in his

Really? I would like to have a 182 or better 197/200 lump. 230 would be great too, but I guess the 197/200 makes it more drivable... Is it the 182 engine really a straight fit (same engine support holes, etc) and does it include Clio gearbox? Will the original inlet- and exhaust manifold fit? And all the electronics working together?

As a matter of fact I am tired now with performance of my Twingo, already thinking of selling it, which annoys my father, because it's mint in every other way...
