Right!

so today on the way back from work, I came into a village with a 30 limit. As I got into the middle of the village a car in front of me pulled up to the side of the road... so I applied my right signal, pulled out and went past (as it was safe and legal to do so) ... as I was almost entirely on my own side of the road a car came round the corner in the distance.

As he got close to me (in a silver peugeot 406 estate) he swerved onto my side of the road, flashed his lights and pointed at me. We passed and I stopped as i smacked the kerb going past him, he stopped and started to get out. So, I decided to get back in my car and scatter as I didn't want to get involved in anything so close to my home.

Just thought I'd share that with you as its really freaked me out, I've had to hide the car in case it gets seen from the main road - hope nothing happens to it tonight :(

*EDIT the car I passed was completely stationary so it wasn't an illegal overtake*

I would of got out and battered him to be honest he was a mug to do what he had done there for needs a slap

I'd off done what you did and just kept my head though.
Mind you this morning there was some idiot doing stupid overtakes in dangerous places to me and my dad in my car. Was at traffic lights and we were both on the verge of getting out and destroying his nice new civic but held back as another driver decided to give abuse, deservedly though.

yeah - the one time there isnt a police car doing a speed check in the village. He did it so quickly I didn't even have time to flash back or gesture... so it was completely unprovoked :(

Should have taken his reg down but I just wanted to get out of there, Cant stop looking out of the window to check the car is still okay.

Some people do take the mess with their driving, The van driver behind me looked confused as to what had happened also, and hopefully gave him some verbal about it like in your case.

My sodding hubcap is mullered :(

Hubcap is cheaper than alloys. There's a positive if it helps

very true :) i'l just run it round on black steelies for a while - might stop so many people being stunned by its beauty and driving into/ at it :)

I'd love to see the car again - but I would probably regret any kind of confrontation, sometimes people round here can be really really thick and not see that they were in the wrong. Before you know it you have their brothers friends Barbour's dog heckling you in town.

maybe it was the car that smacked your mirror, wanting to appologise.

Well maybe i'm still sleeping and its a dream

Are you sure it was a big silver Peugeot, and not Dubz in his iMusic? ;)

If it was an I music - I would have driven at it out of jealousy of the extra 15 horses and other luxuries :D (sounds sarcastic, but its not, I want more poooowweeeeerrr)

That would be good - Or one of his friends heard there was a tenny tiny renault that likes to take a good beating so he thought he may aswell have a go.

Minor update - car had all its wipers up this morning - probably just kids mucking about on the street. None of my other cars have ever attracted so much attention and this is the lowest range car i've ever had (except a renaault 5... actually come to think of it, that was pretty luxurious) :D

Car cameras folks, swear by them!
Dash cam and rear window cam!
Can't go wrong!
(unless you get hit sideways)
Lots of HD evidence!

Going with this idea at somepoint as it does seem the world is turning against the twingo

How much are these cameras? I know yotah has a professional one for his racing, but where do I find the permanent sd card type that stay in the car?
