Tbh I dnt think they are that bad. In due time the centre caps will b changed and il get some sort of Renault diamond stickers for them. But I suppose everyone is entitled to there own apinion! Oh and happy newyear guys!!

Nice work on the wrap Mike, Wheels are a bit marmite i think and it's a no for me... about tonight? im back up Blackpool and in the unit from about half 6!

Looks spot on that, i think you should get rid in the f1 sticker abover the gt sign.. Get some black wheels and black or carbon badges!!
Will be a stealth-mobileee ;)
 
Yeah the front f1 stickers are coming off next time I clean the car. Same with the one on the back. I have a GTRS badge on the way and new diamond centre caps!
Mike pm me your number! Iv got two weeks off work so we could arange a little meet up.
 
finally i got round to removing the front badge (excuse the really bad pics, i didnt realise how bad they where untill i had finnished putting things back together)

1st thing i did was decide wether to remove the bumber or try leaving it on....after a short thought i decided to try leaving the bumber off. all i had to do was remove the top torx screws and pull the bumper forward. i wedged to bits of wood in the gap to give me enought room to work.....

i had to remove these two screws to remove the badge and badge holder...

once this is off i can unclip the four points that hold the badge on....

the wheels dont look too bad, i think if they were less polished chrome and more a solid colour you'd be safe.

id have done the same tbh, moneys tight!

Thanks mate. Yeah maybe a few in the future. I'm in the process of buying and selling a house so had to put most spending on hold for now. The exterior of the car is pritty much as I want it now just the lowing to do. Gonna get all my mods done 1st then hit it with a remap save me keep getting it remapped. Next on the cards is a FMIC then exhaust, Injectors and so on.....

Sounds good, clio 172 injectors fit as they are the same as 182s and are essential for a good map.

I have a k tec exhaust like JE and Paul at RS tuning and the RR meet we had on here both tuners said that its a very good system!

FMIC i find isn't all that necessary on the GTs as I've ran my GT without one for almost a year and no issues at all but with the mods you stated expect anything from 130-140bhp and around 150-160lbs/ft.

The standard clutch can cope with that, mine has only recently started slipping when I'm gunning for it but I am on 61k miles, but it only slips between 2-2.5k, above 3k it won't slip and gains speed very consistently ;)

Yeah iv read a few posts on here about what injectors to use. Was well gutted I couldn't make the RR day as work got in the way.
I love the look of a FMIC thats what my problem is! lol but from what your saying If it doesn't do much I could leave it and spend the money elsewhere on the car. Will see how I feel when I free up some cash! Lol
