Thanks for all your kind words and advice, it has been very touching.

Here's a bit of an update now things have calmed down a bit (wasn't the friday night i was expecting)

So after some thinking i decided to jump into the car and got there as quick as i could (lets just say the 133 did me proud), met her ex out the front and he gave me a quick briefing about her...we went in and she was a state..all hooked up to loads of monitors/drips/other things i didnt understand, she wouldnt sit still and was trying to talk but wasnt making sense,...she then got her bag and had more pills in there and tried to take them..but luckily i managed to wrestle it out of her hand, she was crying and then they took her for an xray.
More blood tests were taken... she then seem to come round a bit and started talking to me about how i cant leave her and we need to be together etc... i stood my ground (i found it very hard to do but i think i did the right thing...the best thing) i said i was there just as a friend and thats all we would be in the future and that i couldnt give her all the support and time she needs etc... this made more tears but she understood i think... although 20 mins later we had the same convo over again ...

Later on where she late become more stable she was taken to a ward...an empty one..noone else was there so the ex and i sat with her until 3amish when we got kicked out and told to leave as we werent family.

This mornings update is that her mother is with her in hospital and they might release her later on today however maybe not..time will tell.

Once again, thank you for all your kind words.
