how much does it cost to fill them guys out of curiosity?

Scott, im just outside stirling :)

Cheers for all the warm welcomes guys!!

ohh and on the subject of clutches, i thought it would use the same clutch as the DCi100 clios, as i was under the impression it used the same gearbox? does the GT and RS use the same box?

Clio 200 ended up in the dealership 15 times in the 9 months ive owned it, including getting a new engine after only 2 months/2k miles. then ever since arnold clark got their hands on it for that it fell apart piece by piece.

Are you on the RS forums by any chance? Might just be coincidence but seem to remember reading a story on there of a 200 getting a new engine & the Arnold Clark effect

Costs me 45 to fill up on 98ron... I've tried looking for boxes to fit mine that are stronger but none match unfortunately

You get about the forums Martin. Can remember your horror story of a 200. Fingers crossed you have better luck with the Twingo.

haha hello N0ddie, what brings you here? yeah im on all the clio forums as well as all the megane ones! and im an admin on cliodci.net too!!

Yeah im on the RS forum, that was me that received the shocking service from arnold clark renault Stirling, ended up with a legal battle with them and them footing the bill to have Progrip put it right and fit 2 new tyres :)

as for the boxes, if it is the dci100 box (JR5) then i was putting 130bhp / 190lbft through that for 20k miles before the clutch started slipping (had done 75k by this point) so the box will be fine but potentially the dci100 clutch could be used?

We have a little red 133 to go with the 200. I use the 133 for getting to work and back. Emma uses the 200.

ahh swap the VXR for it i take it? enjoying it?

I will really miss the 200, its one of they cars its caused me more hastle than any other but ive had more fun than any other, so ive got mixed feelings, although to be honest id have another in a heart beat just not this one!!! its going into arnold clark bishopbriggs so AVOID! lol

I love people from Scotland.

At TRAX (can't remember his name right now.. it's too early in the morning) but the guy from Scotland has such an awesome accent.

Said to him, every time he talked he reminded me of groundskeeper Willy from the Simpsons

That would be Andrew (HigtonA)

I thought his accent was good too. Not the normal offensive Scott.

Getting him to ask for a large coke was pmsl funny

Welcome to the Forum bud, (notso) glad to hear I'm not the only one that's had ***** service from Ren. A.C Stirling....

i knew there would be more out there lol i ended up in a legal battle with them after they handed me back a car with the full subframe not sitting in its dowels properly and under hard braking it dived to the left and nearly killed me.

Kenny the dealership general manager told me i shouldnt be going above 70mph as the fault wouldnt show until after this and if i took it on a renaultsport track day my warranty would be void, he then went on to tell me the sales documents were wrong reffering to the car as a real track animal, and it shouldnt be near a track. My renaultsport lap timer on my RS monitor was also just a gimmik etc etc it went on, i got Paul Young the regional manager involved after Michael the Service manager told me infront of customers that it was all in my head nothing was wrong with my car and i was to take it elsewhere in future.
