Kenwood KDC-6051U

Pioneer DEH-600BT

Alpine iDA-X311

would i need any fitting kits or harnesses, or a steering wheel control lead?

I havent done car audio in 4 years now but from memory you will need

Headunit
Steering wheel patch lead (Twingo compatible)
Conversion leads (Renault to what make head unit you buy)

If you dont get a patch lead you wont be able to use you finger tip controls for the stereo.

mostly yes, however... that kit doesn't appear to have the small patch lead that is the brand specific one mentioned above. something like this (obv not sony if you aren't buying a sony)

https://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_230707_langId_-1_categoryId_165626

also, best to pull your stereo out to look at the ariel lead connector, the one on the back of my stereo (no aux display) was different to the one pictured in your link (also available from halfords at a small cost).

finally.. the lead in that kit (and most others) wont enable your in car stereo screen to work, didn't do it for mine anyway, but will enable your finger tip controls to operate the stereo controls.

EDIT: my mistake, that kit might not require the link i posted, email the seller to make sure you get the right one for the brand of stereo you buy.

I had a head unit similar to the first alpine one and found it a really good head unit. Like the others have stated you will need a wiring harness that will convert from the heAd unit wiring to Renault spec. You will possibly need a arial adapter as the twingo has a new style arial lead which is in most new cars whereas the head unit will be designed for The older style connector. Once these wires are in though there is very little room behind the unit and it can be hard to fit it all in. I didn't bother with the stalk adapter due to the lack of room. Another problem I had was I had to swap two wires around which I think was the live feed and another wire so the live would stay to the unit to keep preset channels and so it would turn on with the ignition.

I am only going by my memory on this and the others may tell you differently but they were the things I found when changing mine.
