I have a black glass roof and I really like it :)

Sounds great, do you have a picture?

I've just took my rs to have the lower arms fixed and the oil leak, Renault still have only one of the arms in so looks like i will have to go back again :-(

Welcome to the forums :)

My 133 had both Lower suspension arms replaced at 2 years due to the lower ball joints

Did your lower suspension arms take a long time to get sorted?

Its been such a pain for me, I took my car to Renault at 8:30 this morning after numerous cancellations by Renault because the parts were not correct etc and now they still only have one part. I agreed to take it to have one of the bottom arms done.

I was told that I'd get my car back tonight and now it's not going to be till tomorrow :-/ I'm so fed up of being messed around! :-(

Didn't take long for me at all. Sounds like you're getting a bit of a rough draw, Whereabouts are you from, and which garage are you using? I used Smiths Renault Peterborough for mine, and they did everything at my convenience. Appointment was organised with just over a weeks notice, they had the car for under a day and it was all done. Had a slight issue with the wheel alignment not being quite perfect after, but they went well out of their way to get it sorted and make sure I was happy.

Definitely, I was suspicious as they said it would take 7 hours to do one bottom arm and an oil leak so I rang another Renault dealer in my area to check and they said it would take 4 hours at the most so really disappointed that I've been lied to and been without my car :-(

It's Renault Harratts pontefract Leeds, I've had to accommodate them rather than them make it easy for me from the start. They've cancelled, sold the parts ordered for my car and now kept my car when I really need it lol it's one big joke.

At least there are some good dealerships lol just need to find one.

Whereabouts are you? Karl (TwingoGeekeo on the forums) works in Renault Parts so speak to him when there's stuff you need to order!!

can you not demand a courtesy car while its having the work done, under the warranty?

I would have thought you should get a courtesy car. Everyone I know has done for warranty work.

It might be worth logging onto the renaultsport forums (www.renaultsport.co.uk) and posting there. There's a few guys from RUK and harrats pontefract on there, so you might get a more speedy response (fingers crossed for it in any case). Or there's the alternative of ringing RUK and explaining why you're really not happy. They often seem to do alright at getting something sorted for the customer.

Thanks for all the helpful comments :)

I asked for a courtesy car but was told that I'm not old enough as I am only 20?

Hopefully I will get my car back later on today, then I will speak to someone at the dealer to see what's been going on, just didn't expect to be messed around as much (ive still got to go back for another bottom arm, fingers crossed that goes better lol)

I can see your pain. Different copys have different insurance policys to courtsey cars. This maybe where your courtsey car issue lays.

If you need any parts drop me a Pm or post in the SMC Renault section of the forum and im more then happy to help as the company i work for offer forum discounts. We are a bit far from you to big your car to use for work but we can always post parts to you unless you feel like driving 3-4 hours south ;)

Hope the cars sorted out soon.

Here is how a black roof would look, its not great photoshopping but gives you an idea

Of course you could go for white wheels (some may say this is criminal to change the original ones, but its a stand out look) How cool is the sticker too :)
