New speakers - 'Direct Fitment'

Just ordered these from Car Audio direct.. I emailed them saying I wanted a direct replacement as my days of fiddling about hours on end with wires and looms are behind me!!

Supposedly these are a direct fit with the additional adapters that I have ordered. It is literally just plug and play.

I couldn't get over how absolutely turbo dog sh*t the speakers were in the car ... When building the car their budget for the stereo must have been below £2.50!! :lol:

So i'll fit these next week some time and report back to say how easy they were to fit and the quality :mrgreen:

Have you checked to see if you have the wiring for the tweeters?

Yeah because if you have a cup there's no wires! Not sure if the full fat even have them

Good god! ... Seriously?! Looks like I spoke too soon about getting on my hands and knee's with crimpers and zip ties!! :roll:

So my guess is that if most cars have these (Can't believe this) fake tweeters then mine will have too... so will it be a case of running the wiring for the tweeters to the back of the stereo or to the front speakers?

Look's like they are fake one's with no wires present

What have people done about wiring in new tweeters? :|

My GT is factory wired up to the Blaunkput tweeters. Strange that your more expensive 133's don't?

Not all cars have fake tweeters. Yes, your Dini ( and mine) has co-axial door speakers, hence no dashboard tweeters. However, some cars do have working tweeters in the dash and there's some which just have the wires.

Personally I haven't done more than have a look to see what's what. Others have added in the required wires, tied into the back of the head unit connector.

Are these direct fit for the rear?! Been trying to find some for ages!
Can you tell me the model of them? And if you've fitted them are they any good?!

Yeah these are straight fitment, with the one's that are in there already.

The components I have in the front I'm happy with for what I paid for them.. Im yet to fit these but same power etc than my front ones.
