New Years Eve?

I'm just startin work till 12,30am I'm ****** I had to drive back from Cornwall this morin at 8am nice 4 and a half hours drive before I start my 9 hour job

Got a table booked at "Ego" - a Mediterranean restaurant in Lytham - there'll be four of us: me, Mrs-H, daughter and her partner.

We're due to dine at 9:00pm and there's entertainment (and drinking...) to take us into the small hours, so should be a good night...

Then up reasonably early on New Year's Day to catch the New Years Concert from Vienna on BBC2 - it's the only classical music I really listen to!

Yes, we've been a few times for celebrations and it always comes up good. Last year we went to Mammas Too in St Annes and that was a good do...

Nope been battling with the virgin media modem that didn't seem to like the idea of 2012, maybe it was just the millennium bug being a bit late.

Anyway....

I'm not. My god what an awesome meal. Carrie looking gorgeous on my arm, my steak was lovely and caz had the seabass that looked quite nice. Between us picked the two most expensive items on the menu :lol: so worth the expense though then the fireworks... Lasted a good 13-14 mins. Kept thinking they were going to end and they got better. Perfect evening

Off to London tomorrow
