Does anyone know if this unit can be retrofitted to the Twingo RS? If yes, are any modifications or facia plates needed?

Thanks....

Haven't seen that before. Looks cool but I think some modifications will be needed to fit the phone in

Well I'd just go to the car and turn the phone side ways to the head unit And You'll get a rough idea of the fit. Haven't got my car with me though

Hi, in my Twingo, i have an o'car....
It work very well. The only thing is not good, i cant turn the iphone holder in vertical" position because the heat switch are on the way.
But if the Twingo have the airco, no problems.
I can do some pics tomorow...

What do you call " the Renault sport monitor"?
if you talk about the screen near the tacho, on my Yahoo, i dont have it, but i think it was possible because the unit is sold by Renault.
If you talk about the app:"RS Monitor" no problems

Interesting unit, only issues I'd have is my iPhones white so might stand out a bit :s

For all of those who don't want too search google

Would be great if you could post some pics. Did you need to buy and additional parts to fit?

Looks good! As said above my only concern would be if the stalk controller won't work anymore

Just spoke to Renault and you wont be able to use our finger tip control.

3 units - £190.60 posted
5 or more units - £182.35 Posted

This review on Amazon worried me but not sure if is accurate. I guess BX14 can give his perspective.

"The concept? 10/10. Brilliant - if only sony had invented this or even Apple. I had a pioneer unit before which had a much better sound but thought i'd buy this as i could update my iPhone and use it as the main interface.
The implementation of oxygen o'car? -10 out of 10. You have to question a company that can't get the simple things right...and you have to stay clear of them.

The software is only good as the hardware and the software does not work. It has never worked from day 1. From talking to all users, they have the same problem - check out the iTunes review for clarification. Not only doesn't it work for me, but friends who have bought this so I am reviewing from firsthand experience.

The software you download is buggy, looks dated, doesn't not remember radio presets, does not work in the background, looses all settings randomly! i.e., you call someone in the car and the EQ presets disappear. Check out the software reviews to confirm. The software is only good as the hardware and the software doesn't work as advertised. To scroll though to find a radio preset, it's hit and miss if the scroller works and it might take you 10mins to scroll to the correct station only to find the preset will be lost at some point. Additionally, there is no way to save presets within the app so it's a matter of manually resetting the unit when you wan to use it. Whilst we are reviewing the apps, the company has two separate ones for EQ and radio instead of combining them (??) The app hasn't been updated for multitasking which would take all of 10mins to include the code. The app also allows the phone to lock so if you have a passcode to active after some inactivity, the phone will automatically lock during driving (forget about chaining station.)

The company is really unresponsive and has kept promising new software but there is nothing to be seen and no fixes from them as they have given up. I had a professional fit the radio in and while he thought it's a great concept, he was mezed by the oxygen apps being so rubbish. The company has had feedback but hasn't acted on it so I presume they are chalking it up to a quiet product failure. From all the iTunes reviews and suggestions given over the months, you have to question the action that oxygen has implemented...which is no action.

**DO NOT BUY!**

Before this i have a Clarion FZB709, and, with the firmware update from my iphont on ios5, nothing working again....
No issue with the Clarion, i sell it and buy this one.
Here, no problems with bluetooth call, no problem with the radio software, it is true the equalizer loose setting ramdomly, but it take 3 seconde to reset it.
With the iphone edge, the software crash with no reason, as you can see on the video...
No problems with iphone4 ios5.01.
It sure, it is not a very high quality product, but for the 125€ i pay it(on e-bay, like new, never instaled in any car) i am very happy to have buy it.
