if you use henk's launch control it wont damage the cat, its antilag you cant use with a cat, not launch control

JE should get anti lag.... It's already decatted.
then give it a week before getting an ASBO and potentialy a crushed car :(
Shouldnt be more than a few days haha

The OP asked about Omex though... Omex uses hard cut for launch, cutting sparks and chucking fuel into the exhaust thus damaging the cat.

yes the op asked about omex launch control which will kill his cat, so i suggested an alternitave that wont damage his cat. as henks setup cuts fuel not spark.

even a spark cut system if used for quick launches and not just for making noise down the local mcdonalds carpark wont do the cat massive harm, although it wont do it good

next week im going to pop down to txautosport and see if it can be done on a twingo. i dont want henk's anti lag as it cut's fuel and not ignition.

If you use henks it will be there all the time won't it? Be night mare for normal driving?? Or am I. Confused??

that's what i was thinking omex has the button but henks is built into the ecu and and omex u can change the rev limit aswell as the launch rev's when ever you want

Clio 172/182's have launch control built into the ecu.

I'd guess if the Twingo had it inbuilt into the ecu it would start the same way.

BEE*R?

You not thought about a BEE*R Rev limiter?
They use Ignition cut and for all intents and purposes...they are universal.

Just need to be aware of what wires you splice etc.

2 Stage Rev limit:
1 - Set when either button is activated or can be used in conjuction with your handbrake sensor. Individually setable Rev limit with adjustable gain (how many times it will *bapbapbap* in a second etc)
2 - Standard Rev limit. Will not overide factory ECU limit however, so would need to be set JUST below it..

i think the police would have my car in a week if it was like this

Bee*r is just like the omex except omex is a soft cut.

Bee*r cuts ignition.
Omex cuts ignition and fuel at different times (less likely to do damage).
