Petrol stations...

I go early in the morning after I've finished work on the weekend (4am ish) so then I know it'll be empty lol. Althought I did manage to get straight in without a queue at 6 last night.. odd.

i dont need fuel yet but the few petrol stations i drive past had queues a few day ago and now have big no fuel signs

Went to the station I spotted on the front of the daily mail this morning, and it was even more packed at 6:30am

Stupid thing is... I seemed to be the only person who needed fuel! Everyone else just adding £10 or so

Grrr wgat was the frigging point of that?!

massive tailbacks at all the petrol stations I past today. Ridiculous really. If i followed the government guidelines to keep at 3/4 of a tank minimum i'd be filling up every day - sod that, will run it down as normal..

Just popped across to sainsburys and damn there lining up!

I went acrossed the road to sainsburys and back and there was a car that hadnt moved still blocking the road!

When I was at work last night some silly birch blocked the road so I sat there with my hand on the horn to witch the lady shouted out to " shut up and wait your turn in the que" yeah cos I'm really sittin in a que in a 16 ton bus waiting for fuel div

The queue here is mental!! People everywhere. Im going no where near a petrol station. Cant see the point in people panic buying, makes the situation 10 times worse

Strikes have been called off now. Wonder how stupid people feel... and wonder how many are still going to go out of their way to fill up in the meantime?

Well I eventually managed to get some fuel for the Mrs car but had to fill up with normal unleaded as no where has V-Power or BP Ultimate and we're out early tomorrow and needed petrol.

Can't believe the petrol stations are just being re-stocked now, what an absolute waste of time that was.

I will always stand by my opinion that the average member of the public is a complete bell end!

Managed 150 miles on 3 bars last night and topped up with Carrie at a garage that was empty as we passed.

Bloke in a big audi filled 3 jerry cans whilst we were there so clearly not everyone got the message!

Problem for me is I've done the a1 3 times this week already. 120 miles each way means regular trips to the station

All i could get today was tesco ultimate fuel. I dont mind though. I dont do enough miles to make a difference any more

I must admit my Twingo and the Megane both have full tanks of V-Power haha

But the Mrs needs hers for work next week. Only thing is as a 'key work' aka a teacher if there is actually a shortage of fuel she gets priority.
