Private plate, what do you think??

So I've been offered a private number plate and I'm just wondering what people think to them?? Are they worth getting for the looks or a waste of money??

Totally depends on it mate, if it's fairly pricey then I'd personally only pay out for one personal for you rather than to the car you're putting it on.

If it's cheap and relates to your car then go for it.

To give you an idea I was bought X666 ALX for my 21st birthday so I'll be keeping that forever. Where as I bought T121 NGO for the Twingo for £250 so it was a worthwhile plate because it was cheap.

Personal plates are a personal taste. If you want it, then get it - but they are a waste of money (even though I have a few) IMHO.

Haha they are definitely a waste of money but then again if it makes you happy that's what it's all about.

I mean cars are a waste of money but I'd never not have the one I wanted.

Ive got a private plate on my bike, personally i think it looks better and also I'll keep it for life as its personal not related to the bike. Also means if I change vehicle i wont have to learn a new plate :lol:
