Rotaries are a great idea compared to a conventional 4 stroke engine, as theres a fraction of the components and, the main components spin in one direction, instead of bouncing up and down at thousands of reps per minute. shame the rotor seals, oil consumption and economy let them down.

With the filter and exhaust, this one should scream nicely now :cool:

The rotary engine is very clever and if you don't appreciate the engineering in it then your loss. It's a bit different and I love it. Very, very smooth power delivery. Rota tips not even an issue anymore, not unless starved of oil through lack of regular maintenance. The next gen looks to be interesting with lasers to replace spark plugs

Or detonation damage from modding without re-tunning the fuel/ignition. Or just bad ecu tunning ;)

4 rotor bridge motors are epic. There was an RX7 running one round here for while and it nearly sounded like a gas turbine engine :cool:
