18 years old you say? Should have learnt to look both ways when stepping out into the road then, that's natural selection happening right there!

Glad you're ok though Dazza must have been a big shock to the system but think of it this way, you've now taught him how dangerous roads are without actually killing him. He'll heal up fortunately. :)
 
Sorry to hear this Dazza, hope you're feeling a bit better very soon mate.

There's no substitute for road sense, and I'm sure he'll not do that again in a rush.

Look on the bright side, you could have hit him with your Twingo and damaged that.
Then the bad feeling as well as trying to get your car repaired and you having to claim on your own insurance etc etc.

There would be no way he'd cough up for the damage.
 
just remember that in a few years time, the lad will be drunk and have everyone laughing at "that time he got hit by a bus". as has already been said broken bones mend, not much you could have done, could have been anyone at the wheel and no one could have stopped it happening.
