Bridesmaids is defo a must see! ......

Took the Mrs to see that, the wedding dress in the middle of the street moment had me in tears. so so funny.

Saw Captain America in 3D last night.

Have to say it was a really good film and not as obvious a superhero movie as you'd think. Some good action in it and some great tie ins to the other Avenger movies. One for the Marvel comic geeks that's for sure. :)

How was the 3d effect?? I've been to a few and am never really that impressed with them. I'm going to see it tomorrow and don't know which one to go to.

I didn't think there were many parts that warranted the film being in 3d to be honest. It certainly adds depth to the screen - which I love, but there wasn't much in the way of effects coming out of the screen.

It was pretty good actually. Admittedly I'm never blown away by 3D effects in movies but it certainly didn't detract from the goings on.

There was one bit that caught me out though. This bit with Captain America goes in to a big base and basically kicks ar$e. At one point he throws his sheild against a tank and it bounces back at the camera. I was somewhat engrossed at this point but it really made me jump with the noise and sight of it aiming at your face!

Bearing in mind I don't jump at movies, ever! Yet that bit in 3D impressed me.

My fave film is aliens directors cut. The second one.
Mad max trilogy is also good as was the first fast and furious, before idiots chaved there cars up.

Mint film!! Possibly some of the greatest one liners in it too

Aliens is an awesome film, in fact I love all of the Alien movies although the last two weren't quite as good. Even the Alien Vs Predator movies were enjoyable enough. :)

Last night I made Tia and my Mum watch The Thing. Such an amazing movie, properly gorey, genuinely tense and unbelievable that it was made the year I was born, 1982!!!

I've just had a look at the trailer for the prequel, looks pretty good. Also looks as though they've followed the details of the original in terms of how they found it, it's age, the specimen they took out of the ice etc.

I just hope they make it as gruesome as the original as although unnecessary gore is daft they managed to make the original genuinely grim but it added to the whole feel of the movie.

So went to see captain america, film was pretty good :)

But I am now officially in love with chris evans - what a stunner!!!
