Remap 133 cup! Good idea?!

Thinking of getting a remap and just was wondering what you guys had to say not to sure atm

You won't gain much maybe 135bhp but you don't remap N/A for power....

A remap will completely change the drive with a better power curve and smother acceleration which feels alot different.

If you want power look at singlespeeds project thread and have deep pockets.

Remap ain't worth it thinking about it ill just leave me car as it is save money and buy a beast in a couple years

depends, ive seen people on here saying they have gained 11bhp and all sorts of figures, tbh i think its a good idea to get a dyno to see what your running it. i had mine dynoed and mapped today at it is massivly underpower running at 118 before the map and 119 after the map, but the torque is a lot better and it is smoother.

but it might be worth seeing what yours is running at standard .

but it is only a 1.6 n/a car so power gains are goiung to be very small but the drivability after a map will be noticeably better

Im not even going to bother with engine mods. Running a set of r888 will make you faster than a remap.

I came across a thread on northloop where some people ran them on the road and most ideas of them are wrong. In the wet they are usually better just not in standing water.

They also tend to last a normal tyres lifetime on the road too.

Personally if i had x cash to spend it would be on some coilovers and bushes.

Plus a remap you are never going to get any money back from it.

My old saxo ecu i sold it for what i bought it for. You can't really give a remap away lol
