That said I have read of manufacturers being conservative with performance figures. I've heard that it's partly down to keeping insurance groups down but also I guess it could be their way of defining each car in their range.
For example people see that a Clio 200 can do 0-60 in 6.8 seconds or whatever it is. Customers would want to know that the extra they are paying out for a 200 means they're getting a significantly faster car than 133 that hits 60 in 8.8 seconds. If that makes sense haha
How accurate is the RS monitor. What sample rate does it use and what's the point at which it starts measuring. Also how accurate is the accelerometer calibration?
