Firtly Welcome along :D

The exhaust has been fitted to one or two RS twingos on here i beleive, hopefully someone who has had experience will comment further.

Dont waste your time with the K&N, much cheaper to get a panel filter such as BMC or something (i have BMC on mine).

My best advise is to look through the forum, especially the progress threads to see what has been done to different cars and see which you like.

Thx 4 the quick reply, does that filter make a difference to the sound when sucking in air? i've seen one for about £40, but have been told the k&n sounds alot better?

Edit: https://fr-rtuning-shop.co.uk/index.php?_a=product&product_id=2144 This?
I had a Sparco induction filter.. was costum fitted and it did make a deeper growl. For comfort, I went back to my BMC panel filter.

I wouldn't fit an open cone filter like this in the Twingo 1.2 TCe unless you build a very good cold-air feed or use something like a CDA from BMC.

What do u mean for comfort? Isit just a straight swap with the filters?
There was a moment that I was driving home and the airintake snapped off + I wasn't convinced it was that much of an improvement over the OEM intake with BMC filter.

When I was on the Nurburgring, I overheated my car because it was getting way too hot.. afterwards, I've build a cold-air feed but in my opinion it's not worth it for the 1.2 TCe.

Get a remap, BMC (panel) filter, sporty exhaust + dumpvalve and you'll get a big smile on your face as well.

Yea I'm gna get the k-tec full exhaust system with oval pipe my dad can fit that, and maybe the filter if its easy to put in?

The BMC filter (from KAM RACING) is easy to fit, the box has 4 screws one in each corner, the ones thats a pain is the screw which is on the lower right hand side if you was standing staring at the car. You will need a slight extension if using a screw driver as there are wires etc in the way.

All in all took me 5 - 10 mins to change over.
