Would a Renault Twingo Gordini RS Exhaust fit my renault 1.2 TCE GT? Seen someone selling a exhaust backbox and centre pipe on ebay

Note: would it make a difference to the sound from my current exhaust? looking for abit more of a sporty noise thought this might be cheaper than buying a k-tec for £300

Can't see it fitting bud, think the RS exhaust has a wider Diameter, look into the K-TEC one, a few people on here already have it!

Yea saw a vid on youtube with a k-tec on a gt with a dump valve fitted aswell sounded nice, scared about fitting a dump valve though

its easier it fit a dump valve than a exhaust i think fitted my dump valve in 10 min :)

My dad could fit it for me, what dump v have you got? got any links to buy one? I read somewhere when your on the motorway they open up is that right? I do want one though do you get instructions when you buy it?

iv got a fake hks ssqv and it dont open up on motoways due to it not being a piston type dump valve. :)

I have this one
www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=2548&appid=5
£118+ postage for forge motorsport dv, ktec stamped fitting pipes, blanking plug & your choice of colour for the pipes.
If you search around you could orobabky get it cheaper I just wanted it so brought it lol

better just venting the recirc valve to atmosphere for free!
that what im doing now. the purple insert on the hks is so high pitched couldn't stand it any more putting it back on when iv ordered a gold insert ;)

I want my car like this lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gKnY-OjDGvA I've only fitted a panel filter so far, so what happens if I want to fit an induction kit and a HKS blow ? Whats the difference between a DV and BO valve?

Edit: Im guessing all this will make my insurance go up aswell?

bov and dump valve are the same thing. a uprated panel filter is better than induction kit imo. thats the same bov i have and would be alot cheaper to buy a k-tec exhaust than a Bastuck Exhaust. yes your insurance will go up not sure how much my gt went up by £127 with bov, fmic , ktec exhaust and remap :)

Only just renewed for about £700 so shouldnt go up for another year anyway even if I tell them its modded  I might get the bov before the exhaust anyway or isit best to have them both, imo a bov will sound silly with no noise from the exhaust

They will add it onto your existing policy, if you pay monthly it will go up slightly, if you paid in full they will ask for you to pay it ASAP

Exhaust is like a weeks wage thats why I keep putting it off or i'd have one already!
