as title says looking for coilovers for my twingo RS cup, i will consider any brand aslong as the price is wright, i have cash now also :)

i can get a set of AP coilovers from revolution motorstore in newcastle for £420 just seen if anyone was selling on here first

For those of us who aren't likely to track the car more than once, but want a car that's lower than oem or springs, these look well priced. Are AP ok? They look reasonable value and I'm tempted

AP are basically kw V1s just a different name aren't they?

Always hear good things about them though.

Yeah just slightly softer. I'm very tempted to just go for them.

I'm going for ap eventually and fr 420 for the rs ones!! Wtfff only up road too! Mint

If you get them before me, make sure to take lots of pictures and a thorough review!

So I've wasted a lunch looking at coilovers. Great!

Hows the Ride?

I underatand they're comfortable. I spoke to revolution today about a possible group buy.

Anyone interested?

Quite stiff lol, like you would expect really. I have no helper springs and no adjusters/rubbers on the rear so that probably doesn't help!

I would guess not. The kw connection is also making me sway towards them. Was your car at fcs? I can't remember, there were a couple of low gts

Yes it was mate lol. This pic was taken there

Sweet. Deffo want now. Looks like ill be buying two sets (and of course make Carrie compensate me appropriately)

As long as I get em down in price, ill be happy.

ATM don't wanna spend £500 but I am cheap

Want them with comp mo5/6 in 16"
I did look at turinis but not sure if it would be right painting them black

KW = Highend, Weitec = Midrange, AP = Budget Quality brand

Differences:

1) Branding & Colour is different

2) The body of the shocks of KW is galvanised (IIRC)

3) There is a small valve in the KW shock that helps stabalise the car slightly quicker (when varying rebound occurs quickly)...apparently this is only really beneficial when racing.

4) The springs are EXACTLY the same...same rating, same spring, except for the colour.

5) The ride quality should therefore be the same

Theres no difference between kw v1, weitecs or ap apart from the colour and premium added to them because of the brand name
