The car wasn't at the garage for long as I saw it driving around about a month after I'd sold it.

Maybe he's just trying to make it sound better than it is as without actually pulling the car apart you wouldn't know what mods it had.

In which case, that makes it october-november 2012 at the latest for it getting its third owner... where did this 163hp argument come from as it was another couple of months before that power was even seen, let alone released.

In which case, ive wasted my time having cams made as there must have been some avaliable months before Catcams produced mine. What a load of lies

The garage couldnt have argued about 163hp in september as my cams and the second set that KTR received didnt get delivered untill December and fitted in January this year. ?????

haha if it wasn't for you sir, there would be no cams in the first place! even matt saville can confirm this, infact if you even wanted to be anal about it i'm sure you could contact ktec privately and really find out how many cams have been sold and wether or not they recognise the car seeing as though they worked on it after all i don't think ktec would want praise on a car they may never have touched, especially if it bursts into flames and then the new owner gets onto ktec and then it all unfurls!

Given the attention the package got, I'd fear that someone like piston heads would pick it up and do an spotted article. David will, of course, be the best to ask as he'll know exactly which cars they've done (or not done...)

The ebay add is now altered. Still leaves the PH and Gumtree adds, as well as any others we haven't spotted

james is there a posibility i can see your dyno graph with the cam stage 1 upgrade package ( do you also have the full exhaust system with manifold sport cat etc ?) cause i can't PM you lolz thats why i ask it here :mrgreen:

the sad part is generally these type ads sell cars! I used to own a genuine 190bhp 172 back in 2006, was a quick quick car in its day took me ages and a lot of £££ to get it to that spec, and a guy I knew bought a "cam'd and chipped" one for top top cash after hearing it was 220bhp, he took it a test drive and being his first fast car thought jesus this is fast!

after telling everyone at the time that I was going to be gutted after all the money I had spent when his car destroyed me, I pulled 3 car lengths on him down a dual carriageway lol!

Yes I have the full exhaust system with the manifold and sports cat. I'll upload the graph tomorrow as I'm away straight after work tonight. Might actually just start a progress thread.

I still think even if the car had those mods it's a bit over priced. As K-TECs 133 was £7,500 ish, much lower mileage and actually had all the goodies on it.
