Mine is defiantly two years or 18 thousand miles ;-)

I am so confused over the bloody thing now. Just found this on the Renault sight https://www.renault.co.uk/Resources/Pdf/Brochures/Twingo.pdf which states it is 12500 for the 133. :?

on a slightly different topic- does the 133 have a multi functional display? mine came with a Twingo RS drivers handbook saying it does, but can't get the display to change. :?

When I was looking for my 133 I spent a lot of time collating info about the service schedule (due to a couple of the cars I looked at), and the service schedule changes depending on when the car was made. Around march/april 2009 sort of time, the schedule was changed from 12k/1year to 12k/2 years. I believe it should say the correct schedule for you in the service book :)

Hope that helps.

Renault did a big shake up changing lots of 1 year schedules to 2 year ones around the start of 09 (particularly for the 133s).
If you're worried, ring Renault uk with your reg (&possibly vin) and they'll be able to tell you for definite.

My first service cost me £60 :s and my mate put his 200 in at the same time at not much more cost my car us due for it's second year service in November nit sure of the cost this time though will need to find out

Had my first service at 12,500. Was told it would be the sooner of that or 2 years.

Cost £231.70 at Renault dealership. Detail says oil leak found from under thermostat housing.

Hope that's of assistance.

EDIT

Further to that, I often get letters informing me of my annual service. However, upon calling Renault they said that used to be the case but many of the smaller cars are now 2 years or 12,500. It was just an out of date computer schedule they were working from.

Rip off. They do fixed servicing costs now on renaultsports at most dealers and an oil leak at that mileage should be covered by them regardless

Yep. And also the service schedule depends on when your 133 was made. There's a period of around march 09 till end of '11 manufacture that are set at 2yrs/12k, outside of that either side are back at 1yr/12k iirc.

We charge £90 for a service in the garage i work. sack getting a service from arnold clark. Its mainly 1st and maybe 2nd year apprentices that do the services in there. Davie88GT should give you more info on this as he works for arnold clark renault.

For the manufacturers service for renault, those prices sound about correct. You will get this a lot cheaper at smaller garages if you inform them you require oem service parts to maintain your warranty (assuming you have one) using the manufacturers specified servicing. Guidelines for your car and its mileage. An renault service stamp or an independant garage stamp will make no difference other than price, so long as the specified manufacturers service is carried out. Deffinately service every year I agree. Hope this helps, main dealers should be avoided like the plague :)

Don't main dealers have the advantage of better diagnostics?

Anyway, I found a specialist Renault place for my 2nd service, booked in for Jan.

Will work out £95 cheaper than the main dealer :)
