Haha i'm pretty sure, that is one nice car.
Anyway I just shamed a Ford KA at the same lights

Couldn't you get the 5 pot turbo in them at one point too? Hard to spot as loads are r design so never know what it's pulling

Yes they did, basically the same 2.5 turbo that was in the Focus ST which I believe mad 230bhp in this model. They also did a 178bhp 2.4 diesel which would have a shed load of torque.

Either way, I'm not surprised a Twingo RS had it's ar$e handed to it at the lights. As nippy as the 133 is, these cars really aren't outright fast, well not in a straight line anyway. ;)

yeah most likely one of the quick diesels or the 5 pot Focai engine, i had a blast with one that had caught me off guaurd in my ph1 172 a few years back and it was rapid!

Well if it was the 2.5t engine of corse its going to beat you... my focus st could push twingos up the road without even trying.

You'd really have to have the Clio on the boil to try and keep up with a car like that.

The 172 is a superb car but can be caught out a bit if you're not keeping it higher up the revs.

ah good old c30, they are great for remaps with the right basic mods you can extract very close to 300 from the 2.5L 220odd brake c30 standard by playing with the safety parameters in boost. 1 of my friends had one running 292 bhp but its the torque that makes it pull like an essex girl. very sturdy fwd cars but not my cuppa tea

yeah totally, i was just coming down the motorway slip road with him infront of me i was probably doing 50-60mph in 5th gear just slowly getting up to speed behind him looking at the motorway in my mirror to see what was coming so i could just nip straight into the outside lane to pass this volvo when suddenly the thing shot off! wasnt until the naughty side of a tonne i started to reel him back in!

Haha yeah, get the revs up on the RS Clios and you'd surprise a lot of cars.

It's like pulling away quickly at the traffic lights, I would never rev the car and just side step the clutch. So I would just pull away and then keep my foot down. It gives people in 1.2s, revving the ar$es off their car that brief glimmer off hope until you hit 4,000rpm and shoot off! lol

I don't think you guys understand exactly how fast this thing was. He must be holding like 600hp or something stupid the thing hit 60 in like 3 seconds...
I saw the same guy again yesterday and witnessed him annihilate a Lamborghini Gallardo??

Some kiddy was on here before and wouldn't shut the **** up about how sick of a drifter he was and how he owned some pretend S14a with like a million horsepower.. so we changed S14a to Microwave to make it more fun.

Lol sounds funny are the posts still on here? I did have a quick look when trying to figure out what microwave meant but didnt notice them
