Hi

I need some advice I want to keep my standard head unit but want to upgrade my
Standard speakers I don’t know what speakers to get our what watt to get as I don’t want to blow the head unit up

any advice would be great

I could be wrong, but i don't think there will be much risk of blowing your head unit up. I don't know the outputs of the Twingo Headunits, but i doubt you will be able to upgrade a huge amount without sacrificing quality at higher volumes. Maybe a small amp will be in order? I can certianly vouch for JBL and Alpine, iv'e used both with good results. I used to have 2x 600W JBL amps and 1x 320w Mutant amp in my old beetle, mixed with 8 alpine speakers and a vibe sub i got good results. But i'm certainly no expert on audio equipment!

I has them... :( long before Karl too!

Thought you did, but wasn't entirely sure. Know you've got the head unit. Remembered Karl definitely does as remembered he snapped the plastic cover which ended up being a costly replacement.

Think it's time for our speakers to be replaced also. Sound quality is really bad.

Just need to find an aftermarket head unit that will keep my Bluetooth handsfree working.

Wanted the jl audio equivalent but there £199 and those were £79
