Haha chillin atm! Spain has had enough of me today.. Thought ide have a check onlineand sawipads.. I think i want! Best get saving :D

I think the iPad minis are quite expensive for just your basics. It's worth looking at a nexus 7 or kindle HD. they're capable tablets and much cheaper.

You'll have to look about Mike, do you really want an Ipad? or would you be open to other options?

The weather must be **** in Spain...

Its abit chilly hahaha but really sunny, waiting for the bitch to get ready....
I think im hooked on getting an ipad, but if i had a go on other stuff i might be swayed..

i love the google nexus, managed to blag one from our rep :D

i always thought tablets were pointless until this, big enough to use but small enough to carry with u.

android runs nice on it as well which is good, most tablets struggle with it IMO.

The only thing that would make it a bit better is a front facing camera but its not something i would use but i think a lot of people will benifit from.

iPads are overhyped and over priced due to the apple brand name. Try the new microsoft surface ;)

That's the one where it claims to have 32gb capacity and 12gb of it is taken up with the Windows OS!!! :?

As much as the iPad is 'hyped' by many and is somewhat 'designer' it works amazingly well. It's far from style over substance.

As it happens, today I bought a Nexus 7 tablet as a day to day tablet I can take to work with me that's not in the same price categories as the Apple gear. It's extremely impressive with a great screen, 32gb and a sub £200 price tag. It doesn't feel as premium in terms of build compared to the iPads but it doesn't feel cheap.

Android is definitely a more techy as an OS, it's not as smooth or slick as Apples IOS but it's very functional and more customisable. IOS is easier to pick up and use, almost refreshingly simple but Android is worth persevering with and does everything Apple can.

In other words, from personal experience I'd still recommend the iPad first and foremost if your'e prepared to pay the price but the Nexus tablet is a wicked bit of kit! :)
