Does anyone know how much it would cost to get all 4 wheels refurbed with light kerb damage and sprayed gloss black with an orange lip?
Would any wheel refurb shop spray an orange lip for me or do i have to find a custom spray shop?
Thanks

Is it a easy job to refurb and respray rims yourself?
Or should i rather leave it up to the pros?

Ok an update on my progress thread.

If you can spare the time with some wet and dry, and have an area suitable for spraying, you should be able to get a reasonably good result with a spray can. bodyfiller any deep scratched and don't scrimp on the prep.

The orange lip idea would possibly be better as a sticker, possibly laquered over to prevent it peeling. spraying would need some precision masking off and would probably end up wonky.

Cheers mate for the info,I recon i will give it a go my self,I actually spoke to a friend of mine and he also said i should vinyl the lip and laquere over it.
What type of paints must i go for and what sandpapers?
Cheers!!

Theres cans of wheel spray paint which would obviously be suitable. I have used standard body spray paints before and it turned out fine and lasted well. several thin coats are better than one heavy coat, which would cause runs

200grit, 400 and 800 should be good enough to remove any minor damage and working up to leave a nice smooth keyed surface that won't leave scratches showing through when sprayed
