Leanne, awesomes choice!! Seether are pure win, going to see them live in March with 3 Doors Down at the Hammersmith Apollo! Saw them live with Staind, to this day, I have not been to a better gig!! Coincidently, off to see Aaron Lewis live acoustic and then Staind next month too :D

Dale absolutely nails this performance, both bass and acoustic!! Makes the change look effortless and sssooo smooth!!

My absolute fav Seether song...

Still thinks they need a replacement for Troy (lol at the on-goign spat between him, Amy Lee and Shaun Morgan). They don't sound as heavy now and lack the punch they once had. Still, for a 3-piece, they don't sound too bad and seem to be coping ok with the live performances.

Speaking of Staind, anyone into Alternative Rock/Metal, their new album is a beast!! It is a deffo must have in your collection!! It is the heaviest work they've done since Dysfunction/BTC!! Lyrically, meh haha, but my god some of the riffs are just brutal

Ignore Kimmel the kunt gets the title wrong haha...

Can you tell Staind are me fav band haha :p

Another band I currently can't stop listening to is Karnivool, really underrated, make some of the best alternative/progressive rock bands out there today :).

One more band is Allele, kind of similar to Cold, but better !! Releasing a new album very soon, one to d/l fo shizzle!!

Umm, me forgotst  :(, tickets are only £26 iirc for the Apollo! Best get in quick though, as all the good seats (yes, I sit, I pay to watch and listen to bands, not get punched lol) are going..., fast! Or unless the organisers/box office are holding out and releasing a second batch nearer the time of the gig.

Disclaimer or Karma and Effect, can't choose between them haha!? Dunno why I asked, as One Cold Night is their best album haha!!

3 Doors Down are like Nickelback, to a certain degree, but less cheesey and less showey! As you said, easy listening pop rock with a huge back catalogue of radio friendly hits. Have to say, prefer their older stuff (The Better Life/Away From The Sun) as now, they just seem to stick to a formula that works. Slow building rock ballads or fast tempo, pop rock..., meh. They may not be everyone's cuppa due to the lack of a baritone and screams, but see them live and then comment on them :)

Disclaimer II or finding beauty in negative spaces :D they are probably one of the most played on the iPod at the moment haha

maybe not a "metal" track but now but an amazing cover.

makes me shudder

Great song. I'm also quite fond of the New Found Glory cover in their "from the screen to your stereo" album.
